Wade Hampton is the closest place we go, three miles down the boulevard that shares its name. Like Taylors it is an unincorporated community rather than a city, with no city limits sign and no city hall of its own.

Because Wade Hampton is a census designated place rather than a town, a lot of services quietly fold it in with Greenville. It gets a Greenville mailing address, it gets counted with Greenville, and it often gets treated as an outer edge of somewhere else rather than a place in its own right.
We are three miles up the same road, so it is not an outer edge of anything to us. A Wade Hampton job is a short morning and we are not adding drive time onto it.
It is also one of the more open spots in the county for this kind of work. There is plenty of detailing listed nearby, but very little of it has built up any real track record with customers, which is not the case further south.
